GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio -- An Ohio sheriff plans to train a 3-month-old miniature Chihuahua as the smallest drug dog in the state.
For the last seven years, there has been one top dog in the Geauga County Sheriff's Department: "Brutus," the big German shepherd.

Cambridge, UK - Arnie the ginger tom cat may not be King of the Jungle but his new friend, Safina the lion cub is.
The three-month-old from Cambridge's Linton Zoo is sharing a house with Arnie and zoo co-owner Kim Simmons, and really seems to be enjoying her domestic comforts.
Safina is being raised at home because her parents did not have the experience to care for their firstborn. Her dad, Riziki, and mum, Karla were also hand-reared. Read more...
Dog Stolen, Strangled In Front Of Owner - police looking for suspects
Oakland,
California - Oakland police are looking for two men who stole a Yorkshire terrier at gunpoint and then immediately killed the dog.The owner of Princess, Lea Dunn, says her dog was unleashed in the lobby of a friend's apartment building when the one of the men scooped her up. Dunn says the two took off with Princess, but put her down a half-block later.
When Dunn caught up, the dog was dead.
Police say the men will face robbery and animal cruelty charges.
